Nearly 2 years after formally withdrawing from the Western-aligned and Western-funded body, the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) is moving towards peaceful cooperation with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
AES members Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso, have faced relentless aggressions from ECOWAS since severing ties with the West and charting a sovereign path. What this new understanding between the two regional entities means for the future of West Africa, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Dr Aghogho Akpome Speaks On The End Of The Dying Western Monster
In this clip, Dr Aghogho Akpome, a Nigerian Associate Professor at South Africa’s University of Zululand explains why so-called “Western civilisation” is fundamentally parasitic and nearing the end of its life cycle.
Speaking during a public presentation at Japan’s Kyoto University on 16 October, 2026, Dr. Akpome stated that the basic underlying rationale of Western political economics is that for one to gain, another must lose, and that this is a recurring fractal pattern that can be observed across all spheres of Western endeavour, from the lottery to recommendations made by the IMF to countries in the Global South.
Ethiopia & Eritrea Should Coexist Peacefully For Peace In The Horn of Africa
External interests are financing and stewarding the incremental destabilisation of the Horn of Africa, and it is up to the countries involved in the latest round of escalations to recognise what is being done to them and avoid getting pulled into a war that benefits no one in the region.
This was the message expressed by the former Eritrean diplomat and senior UN official Girmay Haile while speaking to CGTN Africa on 18 October 2026, on the subject of the budding military confrontation between Ethiopia and Eritrea. According to Haile, the “misguided and fallacious” narratives being promoted by Ethiopia are also not helping to resolve the crisis, even as UN Security Council members have stated that both sides should go back to the negotiating table and avoid military escalation.
Do you think Ethiopia is responsible for the alarming drift toward a resumption of military conflict with Eritrea after 8 years of peace? Let us know in the comments.
Central African Republic Signs Energy Cooperation Deal With Russia To Boost Local Capacity
The Central African Republic (CAR) has signed a landmark cooperation agreement with Russia, which will actually boost the former’s economy and industry. The agreement was signed at the inaugural session of the Russian–Central African Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, held on September 30, 2026, in the CAR capital city of Bangui.
Western and Western-aligned media have predictably framed this deal as an expansion of “Russian influence” in Africa, while the governments these media outlets answer to continue to plunder and terrorize the continent.
Mississippi Attorney General: Police “Justified” to Shoot 1-Year-Old
A police investigation into alleged stolen diapers and baby clothes killed a 1-year-old Black boy in Mississippi, enraging many over yet another state-sanctioned murder of Black children.
Kohen Wiley was seated in the lap of his mother, Vellesiya Wiley, while they drove away from a Walmart store on 14 June in the city of Senatobia, in the US state of Mississippi. While officers claim Vellesiya’s friend, Latoya Ferrell, drove toward the police car, the gun shots hit the side of Ferrell’s car, raising questions about the officers’ claim.
Ferrell was also critically injured.
The killing of a Black toddler is yet another in a long line in the 407-year-old genocide of African people in the US.
According to a data analysis by the Washington-based Children’s National Hospital, police are six times more likely to kill Black children aged 12 to 17 than white children of the same age group.
Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch released a statement on 19 October that the shooting was “justified” and Police Sgt. Hunter Foster would not face criminal charges. However, the family has since reviewed police footage and refute Fitch’s claim.
The city announced on 16 June that one police officer had been placed on leave. Foster has resigned.
Kohen Wiley would have turned 2 on 1 November.
