Africans Are Still Being Lynched In The United States

Over the past 25 years, there have been over 70 cases in the United States of African-Americans being found hanging in public places, which were swiftly ruled as su*cides by local law enforcement. This pattern saw a curious uptick between March 2025 and August 2026, coinciding with the current tenure of US President Donald Trump, who may easily be considered the most openly racist, anti-African and corrupt US leader of the last two centuries (emphasis on “openly”).

These chilling cases echo the historical lynchings of African-Americans throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. For Africans in the Motherland as well as its diaspora, these cases, viewed against the backdrop of history, offer a telling glimpse into just how much African lives matter to the United States of America.

Niger Awards Uranium Mining Rights To Two Local Companies

Under the revolutionary leadership of General Abdourahamane Tiani, Niger continues to benefit from its natural resources – a feat which previous Western-aligned administrations were supposedly “unable” to achieve. Last week, the Nigerien government awarded licenses on two mining projects previously owned by Western corporations, to two indigenous, state-owned mining companies.

These twin developments represent greater state revenue for the Nigerien government, and improved living standards for the country’s people.

Sudan: Schools Resume In Khartoum As Security Improves

Sudanese children are slowly returning to school in the capital city of Khartoum, as the security situation in the city slowly improves. About 8 million, however, remain out of school, as the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) continue to reclaim territory from the UAE and US-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.

The externally-fueled proxy war in Sudan officially entered its fourth year this April 2026. Across the resource-rich North African nation, millions remain displaced, facing hunger, disease and death in what many are calling the worst humanitarian crisis of our time, while the “international community” continues to turn a blind eye.

UK News Outlet The Guardian Refuses To Take Down False Story About Iran

In 2016, British news outlet The Guardian took 13 articles off its website over fabrication, and advertised this move as proof of its long-standing commitment to “journalistic integrity”.

Yet for over 16 years, The Guardian has left a particular article up on its website, an article about Iran, whose Iranian author personally admitted in 2025 to having “fabricated the entire piece”.

Like its fellow Western media outlets, the Guardian’s “journalistic integrity” tends to become very selective when the political interests it answers to are at stake.

A lesson that Africans who put stock on these Western media outlets would do well to take note of.
