A new generation of female innovators is being heard in Burkina Faso.
Under a revolutionary initiative launched by President Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the national competition “HAKILI Mousso” is set to identify and promote young female scientific talent among 2026 science graduates under 21.
By setting rigorous eligibility criteria for technical, pure, and natural science students, the government aims to expand girls’ interest in STEM and build a national pool of women capable of leading scientific breakthroughs.

Ex-U.S. Diplomat: We B*mbed Schoolchildren As Part Of R*gime Change Operations In Iran
Contrary to the public bluster about “targeting errors” and “launching an internal probe to find out what went wrong”, the US missile att*ck on the Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab, Hormozgan Province, southern Iran on 28 February 2026 was a deliberate action specifically intended to spark an internal uprising in Iran by m*rdering children in an unprecedented atrocity.
This is the cold assessment of former US State Department Arabic Language Spokesperson, Hala Rharitt, who for over a decade sat at the grinding face of US foreign policy in West Asia, where she was stationed in Dubai as the Deputy Director of the State Department’s Regional Media Hub. Speaking to Mohamed Hashem of Middle East Eye, Rharitt says she “has no doubt” that the abominable w*r crime was carried out intentionally, with the goal of mobilising Iranians against their own government.
As Africans, having been on the wrong end of US w*r crimes moreso that most, the lesson to us is simple: this monster cannot change its nature. It is up to us to modify our behaviour towards it, rather than expect it to improve.

China Issues Over 8000 Visas To Burkina Faso Citizens
On September 7, 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Burkina Faso, Zhao Deyong, was received by Burkinabé Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo. Discussions between the two centered on deepening Burkina Faso-China cooperation across all critical sectors.
While the West continues to show only contempt towards Africa and its sovereign development, China continues to stand with Africa on its developmental path, supporting critical African infrastructure and opening up its markets to 53 of the continent’s 54 nations.

Denzel Washington: Who Is Really V*olent? The Oppressor Or The Oppressed Fighting Back?
In this video, Hollywood actor Denzel Washington Jr addresses the motivations of those who attempted to discredit Malcolm X by invoking the counterrevolutionary “nonviolence” trope, which is regularly used as a propaganda tool to disarm legitimate African resistance movements around the world.

Guinea-Bissau’s Pro-Western Military Government Moves To Entrench Its Influence With New Constitution
While the West and its media parrots continue to drone on about “restoring democracy” in the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), the current, “transitional” military government of Guinea-Bissau – which sits two borders away from the AES – is moving to entrench its political influence, by changing the country’s constitution less than 3 months before its planned presidential elections.
And the West has been notably silent.
