Is the United States planning to invade the Alliance of Sahel States (AES)? Is a recent letter by a certain US Congressman to the US Secretary of State a precursor to this invasion? Do recent developments in Washington and the relentless slandering of the AES by Western media also point to this possibility? What does history have to say? And what must Africans do to protect their Motherland?
In this report for The Spearhead, @barrahart, @sannario_, @okorieuche_, @gofwenjoy, @big_mck and @davidhundeyin, explore these questions.

Ibrahim Traoré’s Revolutionary Message To Burkinabé Students
In this quote from his keynote address at the inauguration of a new, 1,200-seater lecture hall at Nazi-BONI University in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, on September 11, 2026, Burkinabé President Captain Ibrahim Traoré speaks to Burkinabé students in attendance on the importance of their revolutionary duties, and how these duties far outweigh what they may perceive as their “rights” at this current stage in their nation’s development.
The West has done thorough work, through its media, NGOs and the colonially-imposed educational curricula it left behind in Africa, to convince Africans that the causes of their everyday problems revolve around “corruption”, “democracy” and “human rights”, as opposed to their geopolitical and economic relationship with Western countries.
A very convenient belief — for the West.
Yet all once-impoverished nations in the world that have ever developed – from China to Singapore to Iran to North Korea – developed under leaderships that served nationalist agendas, regardless of how any individuals or groups, external or internal, felt about it.
Leaderships which mandated the masses to put their revolutionary duties above their petty self-interest.
A nation, or continent, which embraces this principle is impossible to corrupt, and therefore, impossible to exploit.
Do you understand?

ECOWAS Continues To Betray Africa By Att*cking The AES
From condemning the revolutionary directions of Alliance of Sahel States (AES) member Mali, N*ger and Burkina Faso, to threatening N*ger with a full-on invasion in 2023, to being named as an accomplice in the latest plot to destabilize N*ger this August, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) continues to prove to the rest of Africa where its true loyalties lie.
