Michael Langley Failed, So AFRICOM’s Launched a Psyop Against Africa
On 15 July, the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) launched a new psychological operation called Drongo Company. Its stated goal is to influence Africans to act in ways that favour US interests by impersonating Africans and using social media thought leadership to shape African public opinion.
This incidentally, is the exact kind of Foreign Information Manipulation & Interference (FIMI) operation that the US government regularly accuses other actors of in Africa and around the world. Whether every accusation is indeed a confession, the one thing we know for certain is that this cannot be good news for Africa.

French MP: UAE Ships French Arms to W*r-Torn Sudan
French MP Nadège Abomangoli demanded on Radio France Internationale that the French government expand its arms embargo to prevent the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from sending French w*apons to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary in Sudan.
For three years, the RSF has fought the Sudanese Armed Forces in a foreign-backed proxy war that has emptied gold reserves and flattened cities. To this day, 8.8 million Sudanese remain internally displaced. In August 2025, former US envoy to Sudan Tom Perriello told the New York Times that the death toll might be as high as 400,000.

Senegal President Faye Throws Support Behind Predecessor Sall In UNSG Race
Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has thrown his full weight behind the man who once imprisoned him.
On July 17, 2026, President Faye instructed his country’s Foreign Ministry to mobilize support for former Senegalese President Macky Sall, in the latter’s bid for the role of United Nations Secretary-General (UNSG).
This move has been described by observers as a strategic political maneuver on the part of Faye, amid his fallout with campaign partner and former Senegalese Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko.
The Spearhead will continue to monitor the situation.
DRC Calls For Sovereign-Based Global Doctrine On Natural Resources
Africa’s natural resources should build African prosperity first.
According to Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner, DR Congo’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, when the world’s technology depends on our minerals, but the communities that produce them remain poor, something is fundamentally wrong.
True progress, she says, means ensuring that the people who provide the world’s raw materials also share in the wealth, opportunity, and dignity they create.

Professor Franklin Nyamsi of the Mali War School calls on Africans to simultaneously wage intellectual, military and spiritual battles to liberate Africa from continued colonisation. He recommends that we go back to praying facing the centre of the continent, like our ancestors had done thousands of years ago, because land is sacred.
