The World Anti-Fascist War – more commonly and misleadingly known as “World War II” – saw more than 1 million Africans fighting and dying for the West, fighting and dying for the parasitic entity that took everything away from them, in a war they neither started nor asked for.
In this report for The Spearhead, Okorie Uche sheds light on one of the most chilling chapters in this saga, when France repaid hundreds of African men who had served in its ranks, by murdering them all.
Niger Continues To Profit From Its Uranium, Negotiates $40M Sale With Romania
3 years after severing ties with former colonizer France, Niger continues to benefit from its own natural resources, boosting its local industrial capacity, while fetching fairer prices on its exports. This April, Romanian energy company Nuclearelectrica kicked off negotiations with Niger for a $40M uranium purchase. Niger’s Ministry of Mines welcomed Nuclearelectrica’s proposal and received a delegation from the company this May. Negotiations are presently ongoing.
Along with its fellow Alliance of Sahel States (AES) members, Mali and Burkina Faso, Niger continues to prove that what its previous, Western-aligned governments were supposedly “unable” to achieve for decades, was never rocket science.
Africans would do well to take note, and ask themselves what their own, current governments, equally “unable” to do these clearly very simple things, are really up to.
Why Do Foreign W*apons Keep Ending Up In T*rrorist Hands?
The flow of foreign w*apons to African t*rrorists has been destabilising the continent with no end in sight. While several African regions face the threat, the Institute for Economics and Peace’s Global T*rrorism Index ranked the Sahel the ‘global epicentre’ of t*rrorism-related deaths in 2023. The landlocked region has held the unfortunate title since. However, we are counting on the people-backed revolutions in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger to dedicate their forces to eradicating the foreign-backed scourge of t*rrorism.
How can Africans stop this phenomenon? Drop us a comment.

Kenya’s Parliament Blocks UK Defence Deal Over Military Jurisdiction
Kenya and the UK are currently locked in a standoff over their defense deal, with Kenya’s parliament refusing to fully sign off until they gain the legal right to prosecute British soldiers for crimes committed on Kenyan soil.
Fueled by years of public anger over unresolved cases—most notably the murder of Agnes Wanjiru—this stalemate exposed a fundamental question: can a security partnership truly work without equal accountability?
South Africa’s March & March Movement Shows True Colors With AfriForum Alliance
As South Africa continues to absorb the economic and geopolitical repercussions of its latest “anti-immigration” wave, one of the key figures behind this wave, March & March movement founder Jacinta Zinhle MaNgobese Zuma, is moving to strengthen her group’s ties with one of South Africa’s most notorious white supremacist lobby groups.
You couldn’t make it up.
Yet to those who always knew what this “anti-immigration” wave was really about, this is, by far, the least surprising development of 2026.
And as with all stories of division in African countries, the West is involved.
Peace Slowly Returns To The Central African Republic, After 13 Years Of Conflict
After 13 years of sectarian conflict, the Central African Republic (CAR) may be closer than ever to a lasting peace. This August, residents of the town of Sibut, located in the Kémo Prefecture of CAR, returned to homes they had not seen since 2013. This peace was made possible by the collaborative efforts of Central African and Russian security forces.
The latest of many testaments to Russia’s strategic support for Africa in its fight against t*rror.
