The Horn of Africa is hurtling towards another regional war. This September, after 3 years of tentative peace, violent clashes between the Ethiopian Army and the so-called Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) shook the northern Ethiopian regions of Tigray, Afar and Amhara. Egypt, Somalia, Sudan and Eritrea have forged a new security pact in response to this latest escalation, and the external powers that thrive on Africa’s continued instability are watching closely.
In this report for The Spearhead, @barrahart explores where Africa’s interests lie in all of this, and where its people must stand, as a matter of survival.

Burkina Faso Is Experiencing Its Biggest-Ever Construction Boom Under Captain Ibrahim Traoré
3 years after officially severing ties with the West, Burkina Faso is experiencing its largest infrastructural development boom in its history. This boom was first envisioned by the country’s revolutionary founding father Thomas Sankara, and is now being actualized under its current revolutionary leadership.
For Africans, the lesson of Burkina Faso is clear: the misery of our continent is artificial. It is perpetuated not by our personal failings, but by the relentless and violent interference of the West. And only by cutting all ties with this parasitic entity will Africa truly know progress.
Ex-Apple Worker: Apple Is Filled With Israeli Spies
While millions blindly trust the so called “ironclad” security of the devices in their hands, former Apple employee and Palestinian activist Tariq Ra’ouf exposes the reality: the tech giant is heavily entangled with Israeli intelligence.
From hardware and software vulnerabilities linked to state-sponsored spyware like Pegasus to explicit acknowledgments of backdoor penetration, consumers are being asked to ignore an alarming corporate alliance.
As long as Apple continues to maintain ties with an apartheid state actively committing atrocities, nobody can claim their personal data, or their physical safety, is secure.
Just In Case You Missed It, Burkina Faso Has Its Own Gold Bars Now
On September 28, 2026, Burkinabé President Captain Ibrahim Traoré inaugurated his country’s first state-owned, state-financed gold refinery, RAFFINOR-BF. The $19 million, 164 annual tonne-capacity refinery will boost Burkina Faso’s already soaring economy, as the country continues to nationalize its resources.
While too many African countries continue to cling to the old, colonial system, Burkina Faso and its fellow Alliance of Sahel States (AES) members continue to prove every day what a truly sovereign African state is capable of.
Is the rest of Africa paying attention? And are we really talking enough about the fact that 3 years after severing ties with the West, Burkina Faso has its own, minted gold bars?!
Are we rubbing this historic development in the faces of those who thrive on our continent’s misery enough? Let us know in the comments.
