Did you know that in 1921, the local government of an American county armed its white citizens to raze a thriving, peaceful black community to the ground and murder hundreds of its residents?

UN Ends 35-Year Peace Mission In Western Sahara
Did you know that Africa actually has 55 countries, not 54, as is popularly believed? The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), also known as Western Sahara, is Africa’s 55th nation, and the only African nation still fighting for its independence. From Spanish colonizers in 1884, to Morocco’s Western-aligned government in 1975, to the US in 2026, the country has faced many oppressors.
On November 1, 2026, the United Nations (UN) ended its 35-year peacekeeping mission in the Western Sahara, following a UN Security Council deadlock. On the one side of this deadlock was the predatory USA, on the other side, Russia, which has supported Africa’s liberation struggles since the 1950s. Morocco has celebrated the end of this mission. Western Sahara’s revolutionary independence party, the Polisario Front, has condemned it. And the country’s indigenous inhabitants, the Sahrawi, continue to hope for an independent future, under their rightful, revolutionary leadership.
